Background
Access Accounts are a
family owned, family focused accountancy professionals, specialists in owner managed, family businesses.

Brief
Formerly know as 'Yours For A Day', this local accountancy business wanted a complete refresh, starting with a new name followed by an identity that instantly defined them and set them apart from the many other accountants in (and around) Newark.

Solution
The path was already set out before me with the groundwork already done by the Access team. The new name and tagline had already been concluded, it was then down to me to find a way to visualise this.

Quite early doors (pun intended) I had the idea of adapting the letter A to feature a “door-like” device that allowed refracted beams of light to pass through it. Connecting with the connotations of being shown the way and gaining access to greater financial support, while also creating a literal visual depiction of the open door that forms part of the tagline.
